My Sound Blaster Z would produce no sound after Windows 10 creators and anniversary updates. I Deferred updates for 2 years but when 1709 was pushed it circumvented my deferment so I decided to give it a try before the customary Rollback of the OS to 16.UPDATE. Issues seem to continue with 18. feature updates. Please try to instal.
Dear Ryan,
Please have a look at the Sound Blaster Z, it has been over two years since there has been any driver updates, some of us have had issues with it, others lucky enough to not have any issues with the latest Windows Update. But I'm sure thousands of owners would love to see an updated driver for our soundcard, we'd happily test beta drivers too if they're available.

Alongside a driver update (our most important request), we're hoping for a re-design of the SB Control Panel, similar to that of the Creative Sound BlasterX AE-5. Maybe an update for Scout Mode too for us.
The card isn't discontinued, it's still for sale in many regions of the world, and the driver support for it has been sub-par at best.
Thank you, and we hope to hear from you guys in return regarding any updates.
